Hi, I’m Tim—founder of CoVolta, where we’re building smarter, accessible energy solutions for everyday resilience and grid demand management. My background bridges creative industries and technical systems: I transitioned from a successful career in ghostwriting to launching hardware ventures that tackle real-world power challenges.

At CoVolta, I’m leading the development of our flagship product, The Pulsar Battery, designed to help utilities manage peak load events and maintain critical power during outages. I’m hands-on in every aspect, from hardware design and manufacturing strategies to customer engagement and utility partnerships.

Beyond CoVolta, I’m passionate about building systems that interact with the physical world—whether it’s energy infrastructure, autonomous vessels, or IoT networks. I enjoy untangling complex problems, turning them into actionable solutions, and pushing ideas from whiteboard to prototype to market.
